With the proliferation of 2019-nCoV, more regions and people are urgently fighting against it, causing shortages in most regions. AmCham Southwest members respond actively and quickly, analyzing the situation and make arrangements promptly. They serve as reserve forces, donate needed goods and money, provide useful equipments and root for the “battle” with standbys. They tie the world with actions. They fight against the 2019-nCoV with good faith.
Following list of in-kind and cash donations from AmCham Southwest member companies (the list is arranged based on companies’ initial) have contributed to assist controlling novel coronavirus outbreak.
1.Till January 30th, COFCO has donated 42 million RMB in cash and needed goods valued 49 million RMB in total.
2.Cummins has donated 3million RMB on February 2nd and through its Chinese parent company CQME has also donated 0.5 million RMB to back up the prevention and controlling war with 2019-nCoV.
3.Dell has donated 2 million RMB and its employees has donated 0.5 million RMB initiatively. Besides, Dell has donated 200 IT office facilities to hospitals in Hubei province to assist them.
4.Dow has donated 1 million RMB on January 29th to provide good and service assistances to Hubei and surroundiing affected areas.
5.GE China has donated medical supplies and cash valued 20 million RMB in total to back up fighting against 2019-nCoV.
6.Gilead Science has donated 1 million RMB to back up government fighting against 2019-nCoV.
7.HSBS (China) mainland main institutions have donated 7 million RMB to back up fighting against 2019-nCoV．
8.Honeywell has announced on January 31st donating needed goods valued 1 million USD to back up Wuhan fighting against 2019-nCoV.
9.HP has donated IT equipments valued about 2.1 million RMB on January 28th to assist hospitals in Wuhan fighting against 2019-nCoV.
10.IBM has donated 2 million RMB to back up prevention and controlling work against 2019-nVoC.
11.Intel has donated 1 million USD to IRC to back up China’s prevention and controlling work against 2019-nCoV.
12.JPMorgan has donated 1 million USD on January 30th to back up fighting against 2019-nCoV.
13.KPMG has donated the first round of funds to purchase the most needed medical goods to Wuhan “Leishen Shan” hospital.
14.Till February 1st, after donating 1 million RMB, Mcdonald’s has donated 0.2 million medical mask to Wuhan and has also sent out 2,500 sets of free meal for anti-outbreak workers in several regions everyday.15.MetLife has donated 3 million RMB to back up fighting aginst 2019-nCoV.
16.Nike has donated 10 million RMB to back up fighting against 2019-nCoV.
17.NU SKIN (China) has donated 1 million RMB in cash and needed goods valued more than 2 million RMB to Wuhan and other striked areas on January 27th.
18.PWC has allocated 1 million RMB for the most needed goods, donations and professional services related 2019-nCoV.
19.Till January 25th, Sunac China has donated 110 million RMB to Wuhan in total.
20.TE has donated 0.5 million RMB to back up fight against 2019-nCoV.
21.TI has donated 2 million RMB to fight against 2019-nCoV and to assist patients.
22.Till February 8th, Unilever has donated protective goods valued more than 4 million RMB to several regions.
