AmCham Latest Intellectual Property Law Semina

On October 12th, 2017, AmCham together with Tahota Law Firm successfully held the AmCham Latest Intellectual Property Law Seminar in Chengdu Kempinski Hotel. Around 30 attendees enjoyed the seminar, including AmCham members from Source photonics (Chengdu), Corning Optical Fiber Cable (Chengdu) Co., Ltd., O2 Micro (Chengdu) Co., Ltd, Vastsea Executive Search etc.
The keynote speaker is Ms. Ariana Lee from Tahota Law Firm. At first, Ms. Ariana introduced Chinese IP Judicial protection system and the status quo, and then she combined some disputed cases in the media with her experience of IP litigation to popularize relevant laws and regulations of Civil litigation for patent and trademark infringement as well as the latest developments in the law. At the same time, she also explained the relevant litigation notices and emphasized the importance of intellectual property protection for China to attract foreign investment and the globalization of Chinese enterprises. Since the Intellectual Property Law System is not yet mature, Ms. Li also advocated everyone to discuss about the related issues of IP protection. Although the seminar was coming to the end, a lot of AmCham member and friends enthusiasm unabated, in succession to stay actively discuss with Ms. Li, communication.
