AmCham worked with SheLeads and Yanlord Landmark to Do Donations

The American Chamber of Commerce in Southwest China is a non-partisan, non-profit organization. As one of the largest and most influential foreign chamber, AmCham Southwest seeks to encourage and help its members make positive contributions to the region in which we live and operate. The mission of AmCham Southwest CSR is to inspire, encourage, and facilitate corporate social responsibility awareness and practices among members.

In response to the theme of 2020 IWD #EachForEqual, paying tribute to female medical staff who are still fighting on the front line, AmCham Southwest,  joined hands with SheLeads and Yanlord Landmark, launched the “Heroine Care Plan” of public welfare project “White Heroes in Harm’s Way, Fighting the Epidemic”, through Sichuan Provincial Talent Training Research Foundation. On April 27th, 2020, all the supplies were donated to the female medical staff of the Central Hospital of Wuhan–the severe epidemic-stricken area.

Donations include 120 Medical Facial Masks, 240 Pads, 120 Bags of Sichuan Snacks, 120 Facial Cleaning Tissue, 120 Sichuan Chili Powders, etc., valued at 20,024.29 RMB, all came from over three hundred individuals’ donation according to the statistics. Among them, AmCham Southwest raised a total of 14,960 RMB, all of which from cash donation of individuals and AmCham member-EOG Resources China Limited.

AmCham Southwest would like to thank EOG Resources China Limited and all the members and friends for tremendous support, and Tencent charity platform. AmCham Southwest would like to continue to encourage and support cooperation in the anti-epidemic field and work with members and partners to overcome difficulties during the period.
