March 31, 2020The coronavirus has now accelerated its spread worldwide. On the basis of doing good in self-preventing and controlling, orderly export of medical supplies is an important measure to deepen international cooperation in the prevention and control of the epidemic and to jointly respond to the global public health crisis. In this special period of epidemic prevention and control, in order to effectively support the global fight against the epidemic, ensure products’ quality and safety, and set the export order, since April 1st, companies that export new coronavirus detection reagents, medical masks, gowns, ventilators, infrared thermometers must provide a written or electronic declaration (please see Attachment 1 for the template), making a commitment that exportable medical supplies obtained Registration Certificate for Medical Device (relevant registration information see Attachment 2) and meet the quality standards of the importing country or region. The customs shall inspect and release medical supplies, depending on the Registration Certificate for Medical Device approved by the drug regulatory department. The above-mentioned quality supervision measures for the export of medical supplies will be adjusted dynamically according to the development of the epidemic situation.Relevant enterprises that export medical supplies should ensure products’ quality and safety to meet relevant standards and requirements, and actively support the international community in fighting against the epidemic.
