20th Annual General Meeting

AmCham Southwest held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and 20th Year Anniversary on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the Chengdu Marriott Hotel Financial Centre. Around 200 guests attended this year’s AGM, including CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, commercial leaders, important members of the government, Consul Generals and officers from the United States of America, Republic of Korea and, Israel consulates.

中国西南美国商会年终大会暨二十周年新春庆典于2017年1月10日星期二晚在成都首座万豪酒店隆重举行。年终大会吸引了近200位重要嘉宾莅临，包括中国西南地区500强总经理，西南地区商业领袖，名流政要，美国、韩国、以色列等国领事馆总领事及官员们以及西南美商会企业代表齐聚一堂。

The board of governors presented annual reports that covered AmCham’s activities, CRS projects, and finances in 2016 as well as plans for 2017. Members of AmCham cast their votes to elect the 2017 board.
本次年终大会由理事会成员回顾了2016西南美国商会的主要活动、年度财务报告、CSR慈善活动报告以及2017年度的计划，并经过会员投票选出了2017年度西南美国商会新一届理事会成员。
The event started with speeches from Chairman Benjamin Wang, Vice Chairman Eli Sweet, and Leon Wu from Unilever Food Solutions, representing our events name right sponsor. Officers of 2016 AmCham Board, Jolly Ma, Eric Tsui and Jacky Muk delivered annual reports.
首先，西南美国商会会长王晓东、副会长史君以及联合利华饮食策划的Leon Wu发表演讲。接下来，西南美国商会理事会成员马朝萌，崔晓亮和麦宗永做年度报告。
We provided programs with a combination of  Chinese and Western elements , such as children’s ballet, Sichuan face-changing opera, a fabulous twirl performance, live band performances, for distinguished guests.现场中西合璧的精彩节目，婀娜多姿的儿童芭蕾秀、妙趣叠生的川剧变脸，衣袂飘飘的水袖舞蹈、古典摇滚的乐队表演等为大家带来新年来临之际最华丽的视觉盛宴。
Two rounds of lucky draws pushed the AGM to a climax, with warm greetings from United Airlines, Hainan Airlines and five-stars hotels and apartments. The number of vouchers amounted to 47, covering 3 US-China returned air tickets and numerous buffet and room vouchers, creating a new high.
现场两轮幸运抽奖更将本次晚宴的气氛推向了高潮。美国联合航空、海南航空和成都市五星级酒店、公寓为在场的嘉宾带来了新年的问候，包括中美往返机票3张以及数张自助餐券和房券。本次共计47份礼券，数量创造了美商会之最。
AmCham Southwest will continue to work closely with the U.S. Consulate in Chengdu and other AmCham chapters in China to promote economic，cultural cooperation between the U.S. and China, and moreover provide our members with high-quality services and events.
